a edit of one of my earlier wallpapers.

Now the Imperial Star Destroyer isnt alone, the USS Enterprise 1701 D jusr entered the picture.

i know for die hard trekkies and star wars fans the the scale isnt correct but i think the if i messed around with sizes it would have the same effect so i left them.


I do not own the enterprise nor do i own the stardestroyer they are properties of their respective owners this is a purely fan made piece.

Enterprise wouldn't be able to beat an Imperial Star Destroyer using conventional tactics SW ships seem to be built to pound at each other for hours (Bow Chicka Bow Wow!), where as in ST fights are usually won by precision strikes, or simply evade the pursuer in an attempt to gain a superior firing position, basically in ST combat doesn't last very long.
The only way Enterprise could beat an ISD is to make the first strike get it's attention and then lead it into an ambush or keep it busy while a strike team boards it and disables the ship or it's crew.
The ISD's usually overwhelming numbers of TIE fighers however would be utterly useless as they're unsheilded, have no armor, and phasers are accurate and fast enough to track and destroy them before they can pose much of a threat, phasers would make getting stormtroopers aboard the Enterprise pretty much impossible too.

It would certainly be an interesting fight if the Empire and Federation went to war with each other, both sides would be forced to make drastic changes to their tactics.

I bet the Enterprise would be vaporized with one shot. Those guns on the sides of that Destroyer are able to melt small asteroids. The ones on or near her front end are also that powerful.

I bet one ISD is enough to wipe out a whole Federation fleet. The Star Destroyer is the culmination of 25,000 years of Republic ship engineering. The federation's barely 1000 years old.

I'd have to give this round to the Star Destroyer. Not only do they have proper ground combat forces, but their shields don't operate on frequencies, and their weaponry is in the gigaton range. The Enterprise would be no match.
